Tabbi L builds a character world around White Rabbit Person and Little Mouse Person, joined by caterpillars, Orange Cat Person, Potted Plant Dog, the Carrot Duo, Rabbit Bird and other insect characters. A former art-class student, the illustrator turns everyday ideas into scenes with deliberately odd physical logic: a rabbit becomes a bicycle seat, its long ears serve as handlebars for Little Mouse Person, and caterpillars bite one another into an endless circle. The two main figures extend from different versions of the self: Little Mouse Person represents the ordinary public-facing self, while White Rabbit Person carries livelier emotions and mischievous ideas. They remain equal friends within the same world. The work appears as illustrations, character figures, plush charms, stickers and paper goods, including calendars, notebooks and a storybook with 1 mm pages, rounded corners, a lay-flat 180-degree opening and flexible layouts.
