Formoria is a Taiwanese brand discovery and curation platform. Our community-built directory lists brands founded, designed, or made in Taiwan and brings together product highlights and official purchase channels so worthwhile brands are easier to find.

A brand qualifies if it was founded, designed, or manufactured in Taiwan — meeting any one of the three is enough. For example, a company headquartered in Taipei qualifies under 'founded'; a studio that designs products in Taiwan but manufactures overseas qualifies under 'designed'; a workshop producing goods in Yingge qualifies under 'manufactured'. We welcome recommendations from brand owners, fans, and community members alike.

Formoria lists brands with their own products, so we do not list proxy buyers, curated or multi-brand shops without a product line of their own, platforms and retail channels, media and review sites, importers or distributors of foreign brands, or personal accounts offering only services or digital goods. A curated shop that makes its own product line, or a creator with their own physical products, does qualify.

Anyone can recommend a brand — you do not need to be the owner. Brand owners can also use the owner flow to provide complete details and claim the listing after approval.

MIT Verified means Formoria matched a product to the official MIT Smile registry. MIT Declared means the brand owner stated whether some, most, or all products are made in Taiwan. Neither tier implies that every product from the brand is made in Taiwan; check the listed scope and evidence.

Anyone can share a brand through our recommendation form. Go to Recommend a Brand, provide the brand name and an official link, and the Formoria team will review it. There is no fee; we check that the information is complete, the brand exists, and it has a genuine connection to Taiwan.

Brand reviews generally take about 7 business days. We check that the brand exists, the information is complete, and it meets our inclusion criteria. Approved brands then appear in the directory; if information is missing, we may contact the person who recommended it by email.

Formoria collects brand information through community contributions and our admin team performs an initial review during the approval process. If you find any brand information that is incorrect or outdated, please let us know through our contact channel and we'll address it promptly.

Yes. Recommending a brand to Formoria is free, and brand owners, fans, and community members are all welcome to help build the Taiwanese brand directory.

Listing review checks that a brand exists and meets our inclusion criteria. Owner verification confirms who may manage the page. Manufacturing signals are separate: MIT Verified is matched to the official MIT Smile registry, while MIT Declared records the scope stated by the brand owner.
