簡莘蒂 CINDY CHIEN

Built around cats and the realities of living as a devoted cat owner, CINDY CHIEN turns everyday observations into illustrations of feline expressions, moods, and interactions with girls. Cindy’s drawings focus on cats that appear proud, unpredictable, playful, or visibly annoyed, pairing their personalities with the emotional details of ordinary life. The body of work includes cat illustrations and hand-drawn stickers, including a series of angry cat designs. Other pictured works use a peach-toned domestic setting with two cats, a floor lamp, a fish, and small objects, while another features a seated black cat, an hourglass-like object, and handwritten lettering. Cindy studied visual communication design at Ming Chi University of Technology and Jinwen University of Science and Technology, and lives in Taipei.
