SurfAce Apparel began with founder Eileen’s passion for surfing. Raised in Switzerland, the Taiwanese-Swiss founder moved to her mother’s hometown of Kaohsiung at 17, where she developed active swimwear around the needs of women in motion. The range includes women’s surf bikinis, dive bikinis and swimsuits, alongside men’s surf shorts. Its designs focus on staying securely in place during water activities, reducing unwanted exposure while retaining distinctive prints and a shaped silhouette. The pieces are intended for surfing, diving and swimming, with selected styles also suited to running, yoga and gym sessions. SurfAce uses eco-conscious fabrics and works with suppliers to reduce packaging waste, linking practical sportswear with a lower-waste production approach.
