SATBAKHI begins with Taiwanese milkfish scales, a by-product that is processed into collagen, reduced to nanoscale particles, and woven into textile fibers. Its signature collagen moisturizing leggings are designed for dry skin and combine everyday wear with skin-care functionality. The fabric underwent 756 days of repeated testing to improve textile stability, while testing by the Taiwan Textile Research Institute recorded a 12.8% increase in skin hydration. The range also includes collagen moisturizing wipes and towels. By converting scales that are difficult to decompose into regenerated fibers, SATBAKHI applies textile technology to a material-reuse process rooted in Taiwan’s milkfish industry.
