Double Happiness began with parents known as Chen Dad and Chen Mom making snacks for their children, then developed that family baking tradition into a handmade brand based in Taichung. Its signature line is classic French almond tuiles, joined by chocolate, coffee, matcha, multigrain, “dirty” chocolate, and lighter low-calorie versions. The recipes use thick Blue Diamond almonds from California, natural butter, Japanese Shizuoka matcha, rose salt, and trehalose. Handmade baking, no added preservatives, and a 20% sugar reduction shape the product profile. Generous almond slices are baked into a thicker, crisp texture, while the chocolate version adds chocolate to the original base without covering the almond aroma. The brand also makes gifts for baby celebrations and wedding cookies.
