拾巾 Shijin Nuno

From a one-person sewing studio in Kaohsiung, Shijin Nuno makes hand-sewn work caps, surgical caps, and fabric goods for everyday use. The name refers to picking up and valuing each piece of cloth, while “Nuno” means fabric in Japanese. The designer selects textiles from Japan, Taiwan, and other countries, then cuts and sews each item by hand. The range includes surgical caps, work caps, tissue covers, storage pouches, and drink bags. Fabrics include cotton-linen and lightweight cotton, with patterns such as stripes, florals, fruit, and geometric motifs. Custom fabric and sizing options are also available, and some pieces identify their textile origin and Taiwan-made production.
