Penpenpen Studio develops contemporary calligraphy by pairing traditional brush writing with illustration. Its work spans home decor, gift items, and brand collaborations, including creative couplets, calligraphic posters, framed pieces, and character-based designs. The “招財進寶” composition merges several characters into one graphic form, while the “萬物可愛” creative couplet uses the standard 17-by-17-centimetre format. Other pictured works combine red or green paper with colourful writing and imagery such as a child riding a horse. The studio also works on logo design, commissioned calligraphy, tattoo-related design, live couplet writing, and calligraphy instruction, with teaching content covering basic clerical-script brush-control exercises.
