Major Pleasure 女子鞋研究室

Founded by two women in 2017, Major Pleasure 女子鞋研究室 develops handmade women’s footwear in Taiwan using genuine leather throughout the shoe. The brand works with a Taiwanese factory whose shoemaking experience spans three decades. Each style begins with research, sketches, and discussion with the factory, followed by hand-shaped and hand-smoothed lasts that refine the form. Pattern cutting, sampling, repeated fittings across different sizes, and colour coordination are completed before production. Its range includes Mary Janes, lace-up shoes, ankle boots, slippers, loafers, and pointed lace-up styles. Silver buckles and tassels add small points of detail, while the designs move between simple, classic, playful, and elegant references. Craftspeople handle the leather and uppers by hand, stitch by stitch, preserving the tactile character of Taiwanese shoemaking.
