Rooted in Chiayi through the long-running Xin Mei Hao business, SHIANEY has more than four decades of experience developing underwear made in Taiwan. Its range includes children’s briefs, men’s underwear, women’s briefs, boxer-style underwear, low-rise and seamless designs, shapewear, shaping underwear, and extended-size styles. The brand works with Taiwanese partner manufacturers on design and development, using materials selected for different constructions, including bamboo charcoal fibre, graphene, Tencel cotton, and cotton. Product examples include a mid-rise seamless brief made with bamboo charcoal fibre, a Tencel cotton brief with bound leg openings, and a women’s mid-rise brief with a breathable graphene gusset. Selected styles can also be made to specified sizes, while production remains centred in Taiwan.
