Rush Workshop, located in Shèlín Community, Xigang District, Tainan, evolved from an old rush-mat factory into a modern design studio specializing in traditional Taiwanese rush weaving. The workshop's signature products include rush bags such as the Fenghua bag, cosmetic bags, ladies' bags, and mini drawstring pouches. The Fenghua bag gained fame when it was chosen as a gift for celebrity Lin Chi-ling's wedding. Recent innovations include custom plain rush mats, rush New Year couplets, tatami coasters, and small rush zongzi for festivals. The workshop's products have been featured on China Airlines' online shopping platform, becoming a distinctive Taiwanese souvenir. They also offer customized gifts and corporate procurement services, with trial sales at historic sites like Chihkan Tower, Koxinga Shrine, and Anping Fort. The workshop actively participates in community events, such as the Baishatun Mazu pilgrimage cultural market, and collaborates with the Taiwan Rush Society to promote rush culture.
