劉一刀手工鞋 LID Shoes

LID Shoes traces its shoemaking lineage to 1967, carrying forward master craftsman Liu Ming-long’s signature technique of cutting leather with a suspended hand and forming the sole channel in a single stroke. Founder Li Zhi-wei established the Taipei-based brand in 2015 after living with flat feet and bunions, bringing foot mechanics into made-to-measure leather shoes. Italian leather is selected for each pair, while measuring, leather selection, construction and fitting are handled one-to-one by a craftsman. A pair passes through more than 60 processes and takes about two to three weeks. Its construction includes a folded-in sole seam that keeps stitching concealed, with the last and production details adjusted for individual fit. Representative styles include glossy black brogue shoes and loafers.
