Lemon tart is the starting point of Qianmo Dessert and appears in its logo because it is the founder’s daughter’s favorite treat. Based in Tanzi, Taichung, the one-person studio makes desserts to order. Its range includes French canelés, Basque cheesecake, lemon tart, snowball cookies, salted butter Breton biscuits, madeleines, classic oat-walnut cookies, stamped cookies, and pearl sugar cream puffs. The studio does not use artificial colors or flavorings, keeping the ingredients’ original taste at the center.
