足渡蘭 Zudulan

Founded in 2012 after Dagula and his wife A Vi returned to Dulan, Taitung, Zudulan turns betel nut, tobacco, millet wine, shell ginger, betel leaf, paper mulberry, and other Austronesian plants into natural handmade soaps and personal care products. Seasonal local materials are gathered and processed through plant extraction and a patented cold-process method, preserving the character of each ingredient. Some soap varieties are formulated for Taiwan’s hot, humid climate, including options for a fresh wash and oily skin. Since its beginning, the brand has worked with coastal producers and women from the Dulan community through exchanged goods, plant gathering, and shared daily life. Its practice also extends into land-based experiences that connect gathering, soapmaking, plant dyeing, and fibre preparation with local knowledge.
