質物園 zhioo studio

Based in a studio near Sankeng Station in Keelung, zhioo studio takes its name from a wordplay on “botanical garden.” Plants, animals, and accumulated details of everyday life shape the brand’s jewellery language. Both members hold Level B and Level C certifications in gold, silver, and jewellery processing, and begin each piece with sheets of sterling silver, brass, or 18K gold. Rings, earrings, brooches, and pendants are formed and finished by hand, including sterling silver wire rings, made-to-order couple rings, and wedding bands. Selected rings are set with green, pale purple, or pale blue gemstones. The studio also develops silversmithing ring workshops in which participants hammer and shape metal themselves. Founder Sharon studied design at National Tsing Hua University and earned a master’s degree in Metal Product and Jewellery Design at Tainan National University of the Arts before returning to her grandfather’s old house to build the studio.
