義泰茶莊 EtaiTea

Founded in 1930 in Tuku, Yunlin, Etai Tea carries five generations of family tea-making knowledge. The house focuses on selecting and producing Taiwanese high-mountain teas, including leaves from Da Yu Ling, Lishan, Dong Ding, Sun Moon Lake, Alishan, Yushan, and Shanlinxi. Its range includes green oolong, roasted tea, and lightly oxidized tea. Some tea gardens sit in a primeval forest setting, where tea trees grow alongside conifers, broadleaf trees, and high-altitude orchards. Harvesting follows the one-bud-two-leaves standard, while hand processing, controlled production steps, and refined roasting techniques shape the teas’ clean character and layered flavor.
