Founded in 2019, Yamamoto Leather is Taiwan's first handcrafted bag brand dedicated to combining metal frames (kuchigane) with leather. All products are handmade without any plastic, and packaging uses recyclable paper boxes, reflecting a commitment to sustainability. The product line includes frame coin purses, long wallets, and everyday bags, with the frame coin purse being a bestseller. The brand sources vintage metal frames from a 30-year-old Taiwanese hardware supplier, giving new life to classic components. The physical store is located near Longshan Temple in Wanhua, Taipei, offering both in-store and online shopping.
