Based in Taichung, Da Shi Design operates two creative labels: FERN ONLY and mark taiwan. FERN ONLY takes Taiwan’s ferns as its central subject, translating leaf forms, botanical silhouettes, and fern textures into everyday objects and paper goods. Its range includes fern-shaped bookmarks, landscape magnets, soft cushions, printed bucket hats, ceramic coasters, fabric items, pens, contact-lens cases, and paper-sculpture bookmarks inspired by fern specimens. The visual language combines delicate plant detail with East Asian ink-painting references and a play between presence and absence. mark taiwan follows a different route, drawing on Taiwanese deities, local guardian figures, and architectural elements to create keepsakes rooted in local culture. Together, the two labels form distinct product lines built from Taiwan-based subjects.
