塗狗 togo

Named as a homophone of “togo,” the brand imagines its pieces being carried away to accompany everyday adventures. Its creator, a graduate of Tainan National University of the Arts, brought a background in art-class training into clay work after encountering ceramics at university. Drawing on the gestures of small animals seen in daily life, especially cats and dogs, the studio makes hand-shaped ceramic figures, ornaments, incense holders, and containers. Its animal incense-holder range includes Shiba Inu, Jack Russell, orange cat, and tiger designs; selected pieces have a hole on the head for incense sticks or dried flowers. Another series develops dinosaur-shaped ceramic planters around the idea of a dinosaur carrying an island on an adventure, pairing the form with succulents. The wider collection also includes dog, tabby cat, pug, and donkey vessels and sculptures.
