Raw rubber canvas skate shoes form the design core of odd CIRKUS, a label co-founded by Japanese designers and Taiwanese original shoemaking units. Its Tokyo-based design team brings more than 25 years of footwear design experience. Starting with the structure of a skate shoe, the brand observed fitting feedback from more than 300 professional skaters over 100 days, then repeatedly adjusted each model’s underfoot feel and durability. Recycled leather is used for the uppers and recycled rubber for the soles, making material selection part of the shoe’s construction. The range includes low-top raw rubber canvas skate shoes in black, white, navy, off-white, purple, yellow, and mixed-color versions; selected models use a dual-layer shock-absorbing insole. Japanese design also informs collaborations with Tokyo footwear labels, artists, and design units.
