One Shoe

Founded in 2015 at Taichung’s Audit Village, One Shoe builds its footwear around hand-finished woven soles, fabric uppers, and roomy lasts. Its range includes woven shoes, Muse shoes, Japanese-style hemp-leaf designs, and men’s shoes. Japanese textiles are combined with materials sourced in Taiwan, while Taiwanese artisans handle upper selection, pattern shaping, fabric joining, stitching, strap placement, and the finishing of each woven sole. The brand has developed Japanese-fabric woven shoes in both non-specific left-right and designated left-right versions. Arch support and a wide fit are incorporated for everyday walking and casual dressing, with creative and production activities based in Taichung and Pingtung.
