Kevin McCartney

Founded in 2020, Kevin McCartney develops women’s bags and small leather goods around microfiber-reinforced leather. The material is described as lightweight, abrasion-resistant, aging-resistant and more environmentally oriented than conventional PU and PVC fabrics. Its range includes shoulder bags, crossbody bags, handbags, backpacks, nylon backpacks, canvas bags, long wallets, short wallets and card holders. Designs pair a restrained, minimalist base with practical layouts, color-blocking, diamond quilting, patterned surfaces and metal hardware. After studying bag design in Tokyo, the designer incorporated Taiwanese local aesthetics into the collection. The name combines the designer’s own name with inspiration from Paul McCartney of the Beatles.
