福灣巧克力 Fu Wan Chocolate

Founded by Taiwan's first international chocolate taster, Hua-Jen Hsu, Fu Wan Chocolate is rooted in the foothills of Dawu Mountain in Pingtung. The brand collaborates with local cacao farmers through friendly contract farming, ensuring quality from bean to bar. Fu Wan's unique fermentation techniques highlight the balanced acidity and bitterness of Taiwanese cacao, delivering a refined and elegant finish. Their product range includes single-origin chocolates, creative flavors (such as beer yeast and rose lychee), chocolate bars, raw chocolate, and cacao nibs. Fu Wan has won world championship titles and is recognized as a premium chocolate brand. However, the brand faced a boycott due to a sexual harassment scandal involving its former chairman, leading some retailers to remove products. Currently, products are available via the official website and select physical stores.
