Founded in 1983 in Hemei, Changhua, Jingyang Microfiber grew out of Ruixiang Garment, a workshop established by Dian Wu and Mei-Yueh for children’s garment contract manufacturing. Its founder began operating a sewing machine after elementary school and accumulated nearly five decades of sewing experience. When garment production shifted overseas in the 1990s, the workshop transferred its cutting and sewing skills to microfiber fabric and developed household and automotive-care products. Its range includes flat mops, bath towels, hand towels, pillow towels, hair-drying caps, car-wash towels, absorbent cloths, kitchen cleaning cloths, and screen-wiping cloths for computers and other devices. The kitchen cloth is designed for engineered-stone countertops and solid-wood furniture, with a thin construction, water absorption, oil-wiping use, and quick drying. In 2018, Jingyang introduced the Clean Detail line, while keeping production in Taiwan.
