織療室 ziliaoshi

Founded in Tainan in 2020 by crochet artist Jessie Chen, ziliaoshi turns the idea of “knitting for healing” into handmade objects for everyday use. The studio works with natural fibres including rush grass, cotton-linen blends, wood-pulp fibre and bamboo cotton, using crochet techniques alongside mixed-fibre colour combinations. Its range includes handwoven straw hats, phone bags, hair accessories, straps, crochet jewellery and lighting pieces. Straw hats include sun-shielding styles, with selected designs finished with long hat ties or cords. The Crochet Jewelry series uses adjustable, wrappable silver-coloured lines, small beads and crocheted forms inspired by flower buds, leaves and butterfly wings. Each piece can take several months from material selection through completion and is handmade in Taiwan.
