TIMU Aqua

TIMU Aqua was founded in 2018 in Kaohsiung with a clear focus on swimwear shaped around Asian proportions. The founder began developing the line after observing that Western body standards dominated swimwear design, leaving many Asian women with fewer options for a secure, flattering fit. The collection includes bikinis, halter one-piece swimsuits, long-sleeved zip-front suits, and sun-protection styles. Each design addresses comfort, security, clean styling, and body-shaping through adjustments to stretch, support, and cut. Solid colours, broad colour fields, and streamlined silhouettes define the range, with selected pieces adding contrast piping or a branded waistband for use at beaches, on boats, and during other water activities. The name TIMU refers to salt and sea in the Rukai language, linking the label’s identity to Taiwan’s Indigenous and island cultures.
