ReneeWorks

Founded by designer Renee, ReneeWorks makes handmade leather goods in Taiwan, including U-zip short wallets, card holders, wallets, tote bags, and backpacks. Each piece is completed independently by an experienced Taiwanese leather artisan, with the work covering leather cutting, stitching, and edge-paint finishing; some items are sewn with an industrial sewing machine. Materials include imported French calfskin, French Alran Sully lambskin, and Italian vegetable-tanned leather, paired with Japanese YKK Excella zippers and Italian hardware. The vegetable-tanned leather gradually darkens through use, creating a personal patina. Selected leather goods can be made in different color combinations and hot-stamped with a name. The designs focus on clean forms, practical storage, and durability, while commissioned pieces require forty-five working days.
