插畫小農 Hsiaoyu illustration

Built around line-based illustration, Hsiaoyu illustration began in late 2020 with a one-person production process. The creator draws the artwork, cuts paper, binds, packs, and ships each item, giving the label its self-produced, self-sold identity. Its paper goods include calendars, datebooks, postcards, stickers, and related illustrated products. Subjects are organised by the nature of the depicted object, covering agriculture, aquatic products, minerals, real estate, and Taiwanese specialties. Each year introduces a new theme, followed by a related product series in the fourth quarter. The catalogue grew from three items to nearly forty between 2020 and 2022. The creator also offers illustration licensing and commissioned illustration. In 2023, Hsiaoyu presented the solo exhibition “You've got mail from Itoshima” in Fukuoka, Japan, and joined the Studio Kura artist residency in Itoshima.
