Eguchi Toys 江口設計

Founded in 2015 by former Montessori teacher Kentaro Eguchi, eguchitoys creates handmade wooden toys and furniture for young children, guided by the Montessori view that children are naturally curious and capable of purposeful activity. Its range includes wooden block puzzles, toddler utensils, Montessori sewing kits, cutting busy boxes, children’s baking sets, music boxes, and a solid-wood step stool that can also serve as a small ladder or child’s seat. Most pieces are handmade in Taiwan from teak, walnut, oak, cherry, and maple. Japanese simplicity shapes the forms and keeps each object focused on direct use. The block puzzle combines construction and puzzle play in one teaching object, while the sewing kit pairs perforated wooden pieces with fabric, buttons, and embroidery thread. Eguchitoys also makes colourful wooden bird mobiles and hanging objects for children’s rooms.
