Founded by designer Niu Niu in December 2024, CIAN Jewelry takes its name from “qian,” associated with black, and from the designer’s black Shiba Inu, Qianqian. With a degree in lifestyle product design, additional study in metal craft, and prior experience at a handmade silver jewelry label, Niu Niu applies product-design training to small-batch jewelry making. The collection uses hypoallergenic 925 sterling silver for earrings, necklaces, and rings, with designs focused on line, surface, and fine details. Pieces include textured round pendants, pearl drop earrings, and necklaces set with clear or dark stones. Selected necklaces use etching to create layered marks and reflections on the metal. A signature custom service presses a pet’s nose print into silver, turning an individual pattern into wearable jewelry. The brand operates as a one-person studio and has presented its work at a pop-up market at eslite Spectrum Nanxi.
